There is nothing better than a cocoa cake with walnuts during a cold autumn day. Or maybe there is? Does something with zero calories, but with the same delicious aroma exist?
The answer to this question is a walnut cocoa butter sugar body scrub. It smells like you have opened the oven and the aroma of freshly baked delicious cocoa cake with honey and walnuts hits your nose.
Luckily unlike the cocoa cake, this body scrub is healthy for your skin. So you can have as many slices as you wish. Oops, I mean you can use it as many times as you want.
Preparation time: 20 minutes (without the waiting time)
- Clear glass jar, 250 ml (8.5 oz)
- 180 grams (6.3 oz) brown sugar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 25 grams (0.9 oz) cocoa butter
- 12 tbsp walnut oil

The brown sugar exfoliates the skin, makes it soft and moisturizes it.
The honey is a natural antioxidant, which reduces skin aging. It restores the hydration in your skin and has anti-microbial properties.
The cocoa butter like the honey is high in antioxidants. It recovers, hydrates the skin in depth and helps to reduce stretch marks. The scent can be described with only one word – heavenly.
The walnut oil is rich in vitamin B. The oil has great anti-aging and antifungal properties. Its delicate scent will give the body scrub final touches.

The cocoa butter is in a solid state at room temperature. You have to melt it using the water bath method.
Add the walnut oil and the honey. I prefer honeydew honey, but you can use any honey that you have available at home. Stir the mixture till the ingredients blend well.
The oils are in a liquid state, but after a few hours the mixture will solidify and become creamy. If you are in a hurry like I was, trying to finish the video before it gets dark – you can put the bowl in a freezer for 15 min.
After you take it out from the freezer, stir well and leave the mixture to rest for about an hour. You should get something like this.
Add the brown sugar and mix again. Here is the final result.
How to use it
Massage it on wet skin and then rinse with a shower gel and warm water. Use it 2-3 times a week.
How long it lasts
The body scrub will be good for use within few weeks.
